Help to identify Battle of Britain aircrew from photograph
Dear all,
Can you identify any of the aircrew in the photograph below? Any assistance would be appreciated. Kind regards Gerry https://ibb.co/yghGrZp http://<a href="https://ibb.co/yghGr...order="0"></a> |
Re: Help to identify Battle of Britain aircrew from photograph
The group of seven airmen includes two(at least) Commonwealth airmen.
I don't think that they are one crew, because I don't believe that there was a Bomber at that time that had a seven man crew, Halifax's and Manchester 's only entered service in November 1940, before that the Wellington and Whitley were the only large bombers. So maybe just a group of airmen of an unknown Squadron ? |

Likely 111 squadron. PJ Simpson and O Kucera on the right, J A Walker ? on the left.
