Re: ID photo from airfield Königsberg (April 1945)
Hello,
The pictures was taken in Aslau (Silezia) nearby the Focke-Wulf aircraft factory. The Bf-110G-s belongs to NJG 102 trainig unit. (Probably I/NJG102 unit). If I know know correctly the unit started to disbanded 1945 March. The obey was to keep the planes one reserved place, because of the less limit and not enough aircraft fuel. After all aircraft were loot for Soviets. In March the airfield was used soviet P-39 Aircobras. Best regards, Balazs |

How were these Bf110Gs determined to have been found in Aslau (today polish Osła)?
I have already found several places where should these Bf110s be found, that's why I'm interested. This photo is dated 26 April 1945 https://russiainphoto.ru/search/phot...&author_ids=37 The machines appear to have come from various defunct school units and were stored there as airplanes had no further use. |
