Hptm Georg Landhoff
Does anyone have anything on Hptm Georg Landhoff? He was a WW I vet who served in the Luftwaffe in WW II on the staff of II/JG 27. I know he was WIA in both world wars.

no this is from Over The Front 39-3 page 225 his name was Georg Langhoff.
He ended WW I as a Hauptmann and discharged. "He was in the Luftwaffe from 1 April 1936, Hauptmann z.V., 1940-1945 in the staff of II/JG 27." |

Infantrie-Regiment Prinz Mortiz von Anhalt-Dessau (5.Pommersches) Nr.42, thenin the Fliegertruppe,firstsince December 1914 with FEA 2, from March 1915 with FFA 12, from the end of October 1915 with AFP Sud. He was promoted to Oberleutnant on 6 June 1916. Beginning 1 November 1916, adjutant and teacher at the Fliegerbeobachterschule Thorn, then from 1 October 1918 to spring 1919, adjutant at Kofl Ost. Inspring of 1919, he was promoted to Hauotmann. He was a brickyard owner in Stettin after his discharge. |

Langhoff flying as observer to Obltn Franz Kastner in a DFW BI 0n 26 May 1915 downed a Voisin LA of VB 108 Cpl Maxine Lerrier (P) POW & Sol Jean Lattard (G) POW/WIA/DOW on 8 June 1915
