Information concerning the loss of Uffz. AloisStadlmair - killed 09.11.1942
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Alois Stadlmair who was a crew member in a bomber squadron and was lost on the 9th November 1942?

He was an experienced flier with the EK II, Flieger badge and Silver award for bomber personnel.

Information on ebay suggested he might have been lost over the Mediterrenean near Algeria?

GQM loss return15 Nov 1942, Luftflotte 3, item 85:
9.11.42 II./KG 6, crash location and reason of loss unknown, Ju 88 A-14 WNr. 144156 3E+CC 100%.
F Major Gerhard von Roth
B Uffz Josef Esser
Bf Ofw Harry Borgwedel
Bs Uffz Alois Stadelmär (?), all missing.
Correction 9 June 1944: Uffz Esser gefallen
