Oblt Herward of Stab./NaG 9

Hi Guys

Another teaser

On 2nd August 1943 a certain Oberleutnant Herward claims a Russian Pe-2 at 0834 hrs. The Mikrofilm's handwriting is actually quite clear, but I think this is either a forename or double surname i.e Herward-Braunegg !

Any thoughts ?

Braunegg was awarded the Ritterkreuz in March 1944 while he was serving with NAGr. 9 on the Ukraine front and had logged around 350 war flights, so it seems pretty likely to be him.
