Uffz Fritz Reimet ? 4./JG 51
Hi Guys
I think I have identified another name with JG 51. :- 15th April 1944 P-387 1245 hrs Uffz "R.immet" 4./JG 51 It's written by a different hand that wrote clearly on 8th July 1944 1108 hrs Uffz Reimet 5./JG 51 I think the 15th April claim was Uffz Fritz Reimet, which had been mis-spelt Reimmet. Uffz Fritz Reimet of II./JG 51 was stated as having three claims in the west, of which previous to this I could find only one. Can anybody comment on this? Kind Regards Johannes |

Re: Uffz Fritz Reimet ? 4./JG 51
Thanks Leo and Karoband for your input.
I am convinced now Fritz is the short version of Friedrich. With Leo's loss details it proved Reimet was with both 4./JG 51 and 5./JG 51 clinching it for me. Thanks again Kind Regards Johannes |
