Re: Station names needed - RAF Hooton Park 1940
I am trying to find the details of the both the Station CO and Station W/O of RAF Hooton Park in Jan 1940?
I know the Station W/O was a W Gamblen, but need both their first names? Thanks in advance. Danny |
Re: Station names needed - RAF Hooton Park 1940
Hi Danny. I know James Lloyd Findlay (RNZAF -NZ1004), later Air Commodore was C/O Hooton Park in Coastal Command early in the war but not sure of exact dates; he also commanded 48 Sqn. at some time, they were at HP July 1940--July 1941.
