Born 9.12.1922, only son of Robert Kraus and Helen Elizabeth Kraus. Came to London from Vienna in 1938. Attended Charterhouse 1938-40. Pilot also known as Keans.

Was he Jewish or just an Austrian refugee?

He was lost flying with 611 squadron in 1942.

George Wilhelm KRAUS, was of the Jewish faith. His entry in "We Will Remember Them", simply reads: The Royal Air Force - Kraus, G. W. - 611 Squadron.
