Information concerning the loss of Ferdi Gollner - 07.10.42 over Stalingrad

Hi,

I recently obtained a portrait of a flier with some information on his loss.

He was Ferdi Gollner who was lost on the 7th October 1942 over Stanlingrad.

He was an experienced flier with the EK I, Silver Flight Badge, Narvik Shield and Golden HJ badge.

Can anyone provide further details on his loss?

GQM loss return 19 Sep 1942 item 68:
22.8.42 2./StG 2 target Pl.Qu. 4956, loss category 8 = destroyed by gunfire from infantry on an operational flight, Ju 87 D WNr. 2449 T6+DK 100%.
