Kington and Selinger give his date of death as 6 Dec 1942, they show him as being replaced by Oblt Karl Schmidt on 7 Dec 1942.

Hptm Rudolf Presse was wounded at Fl.Pl. Juvincourt on 19 May 1943. Unit Schl.G 101 and the aircraft Fw 190 A-4, WNr. 140770.
He probably survived the war.

Prasse or Presse Matti? Prasse was with Erg.ZGr 17 April then to SG 101 15 June according to his files before going to EKdo 25 7 Jul 43
