Hello

is anyone able to help with following questions? I would like to know the exact date of his USAAF joining and also when he left the USAAF(USAF).

According an air medal card he hailed from Ravenswood, IN. With this info, then he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN on 12 Jan 1942 and was given ASN 15085430. Later data indicates he received training at Cochran Field, Macon, GA.
