I might have asked this prior to the 12 OCH crash some months ago but I am trying to find out more about Fg Off Alexander and Sgt Smith who flew with 233 Sqn early 1942. Irritatingly, 233 Sqn is one of those units who do not record christian names or postings in and out. Alexander was promoted to Flt Lt mid-1942 while it appears that Smith could have been Eric Harcourt Smith who was commissioned at the end of the year
