Lt Mock a Bf.109 "Krample"...where is it?
2/Lt Storts a Bf.109 "Kostalj"...idem where is it?

Hi Michel. There is a "Kampelje" on Krk Island Croatia and a " Kostajnica" SE of Zagreb; the Group was escort to 38 B-17s (463BG) to Zagreb airfield on the 6th. and the 317FS (Mock) met E/A in the Trieste area shooting down several. The 319FS (Storts) left the B-17s as the weather was bad at Zagreb and bombing ineffective. 2 bombers lost. These 2 names may be quite wrong as spelling is difficult for Yugoslavia.
STUDY 85 credits 317FS with 7 and 319FS with 4.
