is anyone able to help with following questions? I would like to know the exact date of his USMC joining and also when he left the USMC.

As noted in Frank Olynyk’s Stars and Bars, Poske left active service with the end of the war, although he shows up, a Major, on the muster roll of HqSq MAG-91 MCS Cherry Point as late as 10/17/1945, joining from MAG-52 MCAAF Congaree on that date. Nothing more after that.
