324th FG Kia-Jan 10,1945
 

On January 10, 1945 the 324th FG, a part of the First Tactical Air Force, lost 2nd Lt. Nonnally in combat with enemy aircraft. The problem is that the "best" Luftwaffe claims are for JG-53 which claimed two P-47s on January 9th,1945?!

Can anyone account for the discrepancy? Is it possible the MACR was filed a day later than the actual event?
