Siegfried Schwarz - Luftwaffe P.o.W.
 

Hello everyone

A real long shot this one, for which I apologise in advance, but I'm looking for information about a Siegfried Schwarz, who died in hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in July 1975 aged 59, after suffering a fractured skull in a fall.

Contemporary local newspapers describe him as a 'former German fighter pilot' and a prisoner of war who had stayed in the UK after the war.

I have his date of birth - July 16th 1916 - and that's all, sorry!

Any ideas of how he became a P.o.W.?
