Oblt/Hptm Adolf Berger 2./KGr 126

Berger was killed 8 Feb 41 commanding 5./196 but his EKM would indicate he was with 2./KGr 126 prior to this. Has anyone got a note of him flying with 2./KGr 126 in 1940?

An update on this. I now have scans of his Wehrpass which confirms he was with KGr 126 June-December 1940. He was initially Navy and promoted to Hptm after his death

A possible match, allowing for the Luftwaffe's hopelessness at spelling names:

CX/JQ/318 18.9.40

16. On 17/9 source was present at advance HQ of KG 40, Brest-South when Oblt.z.See Fräsdorf received a report from Lt.z.See Ullrich as follows: A Ju 52 will arrive tomorrow with Oblt. Burger of KGr. 126 on board. Please furnish report on state of health of Oblt. Gerbert. (A)
