Graduate engineers

Gents
Does anyone have or seen any information about training and employing graduate engineers in German (or any other) aviation industry pre-war and during the war?
The only information I was able to find was that estimately 50 graduate engineers joined the industry annually prior to outbreak of the war.
TIA
Franek

Re: Graduate engineers

You might find something in Adam Tooze's book The Wages of Destruction although there's no specific mention in the index.

Thanks, but the word engineers is mentioned exactly four times, and not in the context.
Weird, so essential information is not so easily available.

That’s a pity. Tooze has his own webpages with a ‘contact’ link, so it might be worth asking him. Alternatively, I’d imagine there’s a professional body for German engineers and it may have historical data.

Good point, I shall try their association.
That said it is weird, such information is not available in general, not only for Germans.
