Sgt V.J.S. Tindale pilot Lanc ED660

I am still busy with the research of 101 Sqdn Lancaster ED660 shotdown 25/26 May 1943 over Vught in The Netherlands. I know that Tindale and his crew was posted 19 April 1943 from 81 OTU to No 1662 CU and 16 May 1943 to No. 101 Sqd. Was Tindale in another Squadron before he went to 101 Sqdn as most pilots gathering experience on Ops, before leading his own crew. Any Ops for Tindale??

Thank you very much,
Adrian

I would say being so junior in rank (and age-he was 20 when killed), he went from OTU to CU and then 101 Sqn and would have possibly flown as 2nd pilot to a more experienced crew before commanding his own crew. I would check the 101 Sqn F540
