GQM loss return 27 Jul 1942 item 49:
24.7.42 Erg.Jagdgr.Süd Hahnhofen, crash due to operator error, loss category 22 (= destroyed without enemy action on a non-operational flight), Bf 109 F-2 WNr. 8222, 90%.

Unit: 2./Erg. Jagdgruppe Süd
Killed in a crash at 1753 hrs on 24 July 1942 near shooting range Hanhofen, between Hanhofen and Iggelheim.
