Adjutant of Gerhard Michalski
Hi enthusiasts
I have a difficult question regarding the Kommodore of JG 4 during 1945. Between 18th and 20th April 1945 several members of the Staff of JG 4 are lost, on 22nd April 1945 the Russians overran their airfields and Kommodore Gerhard Michalski was ordered to Northern Germany. Question is that allegedly his adjutant was a Leutnant "L", would anybody happen to know who this was, and/or anything about him?, or the other members of the staff. Grateful for any assistance Kind Regards Johannes |
Re: Adjutant of Gerhard Michalski
Johannes,
Where does this info come from? Would this Leutnant "L" be a pilot or a non-flying Adjutant? Cheers, John |
Re: Adjutant of Gerhard Michalski
Hi John
Thanks for your reply. I source would be Heinz-Otto Berg, I wouldn't say he overclaimed, more like he told tall stories, so don't know how accurate this is. Regarding flying or non-flying, again I just don't know. Kind Regards Johannes |
