Heinkel He 70 any military pilots?

Good evening Gentlemen,

has anybody of you ever come across a military pilot who flew the Heinkel He 70 operationally ?

Michael

Balthasar with A/88 but I believe he was a Beobachter at the time?

Hi,

Perhaps something can be found in the RL35 files of BAMA.

Best regards

Luc

No mentioning of the Heinkel He 70 in "Aces of the Legion Condor" by Robert Forsyth.

Probably because the book deals with fighter aircraft rather than recce?

I thought you meant Wilhelm Balthasar.

Correct-started as a Beobachter but flew recce not fighter missions with the He 70

Hmm, he even claimed an unconfirmed kill before his transfer to fighters. (In a He 70?)
