Wellington crew recovery 21st July 1941

Hi,

A Vickers Wellington of No.149 ditched 70 miles off the Dutch coast on July 15th 1941. They spent the next 6 1/2 days in their dinghy until they were eventually picked up by a Heinkel 59 from Schellingwoude (Amsterdam). Trying to find out any details on what unit the He59 was from and any additional details on the crew's recovery.

TIA

Steve

Should be Seenotkommando 4 which was based at Norderney with detachment at Schellingwoude
