Info needed on Mossie PR XVI Canopies
I have noted that the canopies on Mossies varied. I am researching Mosquito PR XVI types as used by the USAAF in the 25th BG, and notice on these types, aswell as a nvaigators blister on top of the canopy, side blisters, the front windshield also is sharper than other models that have flat windshields.
I have plenty on ref photos, but need one that clearly shows the PR XVI canopy. A plan, model or any info would be helpful. Any help appreciated. Regard Pathfinder |

Kutscha,
Thanks for the offer, but the diagram you provided answered it all, thanks again. |
Re: Info needed on Mossie PR XVI Canopies
I believe some 654th Sq, 25th BG Mossies had black undersides. I have a colour profile but the engines hide the front fuselage. Would the black belly meet the front plexiglass just below the halfway mark and run back to where the leading edge joins?
