S/L Melville PC HOLMES (70320 - DFC) - 197 Sqn

Hello,

Does anymone know in which operational units S/L MPC Holmes served between the award of his DFC in July 1940 (18 Sqn - Blenheims) and the date of his death in January 1944 as OC 197 Sqn on Typhoons?

He was with 56 Squadron in February 1943 and then joined 181 Squadron on February 22nd.
