information concerning the loss of Feldwebel Max Hurler - killed 03.07.1943

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Max Hurler?

He was a very experienced flier with a Stuka squadron and had won the EK I and II, Golden Flight Battle Badge and been awarded the Ehrenpokal.

His sterbebild does not mention how many flights he had flown but it does say he was killed over Orel in the East.

Is 5 July 1943 also possible? Fw. Hurler is listed in Ju-88A-14, Wnr. 144659 of 8./KG 1 (V4+AS), 'explosion in the air' in Orel area.
