Nachtjagd Over the Eastern Front

The Air War Publications team is very pleased to announce the imminent release of our second book, Nachtjagd Over the Eastern Front, written by Sven Carlsen, Morten Jessen and Adam Thompson. More details can be found in our latest blog post: https://airwarpublications.com/nacht...he-print-shop/. The book will be going to the print shop in nine days, and will be available for purchase very soon.

This book has been many years in the making, and is the result of extensive research. It will comprise 316 pages, with a lengthy sources list and footnotes. It will also feature 236 photos, 22 colour maps, thirteen profiles by Claes Sundin, twenty wartime illustrations, and more than 50 tables.

We look forward to the release date for this project, and hope that people enjoy what we have produced. It took the Air War Publications team fifteen years to finish our second book, but we intend to finish the third, fourth, fifth and sixth in much quicker time!

Regards,
Andrew, Morten & Adam

Will Rumania, Hungary and Bulgaria be covered? If yes, you have a buyer.

Not bad - it looks as if I have to find a space for a new book on my bookshelves. I am especially looking forward for information about NJG 102 late 1944 and 1945

Sven Carlsen, Morten Jessen and Adam Thompson,
Well done and congratulations! Seems a wonderful work (of passion), the art and diagramation are first class too! Already on the wish list...

Morning Dénes,

Yes, I can confirm that Rumania, Hungary and Bulgaria will be covered in the book. At least twenty airfields in those countries are mentioned in the Airfield section of the book's index.

Cheers,
Andrew A.

A very obscure subject. Nice to see it's being addressed. The Eastern Front doesn't pop into one's mind when talking about the Nachtjagd. At least not in English.

Should be a fascinating read. Look forward to it.
