31st FG Strafing claims 11 October 1944
 

Hello to all,

On the 11 October 1944 the 31st FG made 8 des 23 damaged claims by the 308th and 2 des and 2 damaged by the 309th all on the ground at Prostějov A/D . I am not sure if the air to air claims by Stanley Vashina are included in the 309 claims, or he got more on the ground. Beyond that the mission report on the microfilm copy I have from Frank Olynyk is so faint its impossible to read. As it is for most of the month. Does anyone have a readable copy, or know what and who made the claims?. From 11 to 14 October the 15th's fighters made at least 178 destroyed ground claims, which I can at the moment list all but the 31st claims.

Thanks in anticipation for any help. There is almost no detail in the Now Forgotten Skies unit history or on the web that I can find.
