Signing in Issues
 

Peter,

Like several others I have a problem with the website.

When I log in it confirms that I am a member and online. I can view all posts and pages with no issues. However, when I respond to a question the screen gives me the following message:

"You have been banned for the following reason" - No reason specified"
"Date the ban will be lifted - Never".

Like others I have been a long time member of this site (since its inception actually). Could you please investigate?

I’ve double checked, but no banned groups.
Don’t know what is happening here.

I have also been a long-time member. A few days ago, I received exactly the same message when I was browsing New Posts. I logged out. logged in, and all was good.

It could be a cookie issue.
Creating a new session is always a good idea.

Has this issue been resolved with the fresh login?

I have the same problems. It seems if I make a post that lasts more than a few minutes the following as above pops up.

The session will expire after 300 seconds of inactivity
