Unknown Stencil on Me109 Cowling...ideas?
 

hey guys,

I have seen this stencil only on occasion.

Any ideas what it says? It is not the standard glycol/wasser warning.

I know I can make out some of the letters...from these two cowling panels:

Vor…..en
Heide n(?)

"Vor Scheiden" maybe on the top line from the B&W posted above?

I am thinking this "may" reference something with the tropical intake?

Cannot find anything in the literature.

I believe the full inscription is
"Vor schließen der Haube Sandabscheider Klappen öffnen"

and yes, it's connected to the tropical intake.
