Was that a Romanian Potez or anything else?
On 07 July 1941 at 8:35–9:25 during the recon mission over Pyrlitsa - Falesti - Leusheni area a flight of 4 MiG-3s from 55 IAP attacked a single 2-engined enemy plane that was identificated by Soviet pilots as "Bf 110" and reported crashed in the forest to the N of Leusheni. But there weren't any planes of that German type in that area in July 1941 as I know  ...
Can anybody help with correct identification? Were there any losses that date? Regards, MB |

No Rumanian Potez 63, or any other twin-engine airplane, was lost on July 7, 1941.
However, a Potez 63 was lost the previous day, while attacking Bucovăţ railway station. Could this be 'your' airplane? |
