Four-leaved clover or 'Edelweiss'

On a picture of the fuselage of a He 111 together with Ju 52's we have found an emblem of a flower.
It could be a four-leaved clover or an 'Edelweiss' or maybe from another type. See attachment.
We think that this picture has been taken during the war in the Netherlands in May 1940.
Several He 111 have been shot down during those days.
E.g. from KG 4, KGr 126, Aufkl.Gr./Ob.d.L. KG 54 and KG 27.
But we do not know from which unit this emblem is.
Who can help?

Jaap
