Checkerboard Hunters

Does anyone know the current status of this book? The original release date was Spring 2006 but nothing has been forthcoming from the publisher about its status since then.

It was listed on Stone & Stone for release in Sep06 but I had placed a order with Amazon in August. Now they tell me it will be delivered after the first of the year. I'm about ready to give up on it.

Stone & Stone is now showing a release date for Feb 2007. Has anyone heard any other definite?
