Luftwaffe Loss over England22. 10. 44?

I have recently obtained a sterbebild of a Luftwaffe Flugzengbauer who was lost over England on 22.10.44.
I have tried to find out details http://i1.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/7b/ac/c37a_1.JPGabout Ludwig Obfer but am struggling.
Can anyone suggest anything?

Ludwig Obser's job was "Flugzeugbauer", he died as member of the Fallschirm-Panzer Division 1 "Hermann Göring" near Hohenfried in Eastern Prussia. But, as mentioned on the Sterbebild, he had been member of a Kampfgeschwader at the Western Front before.
