Hello,

Losses P-38 - 10 PRS


Between, its five losses of P-38 of 10 PRS, I research a pilot KIA. (near Rennes) Killed, Crashed on Take off airfield of Rennes Saint Jacques in Brittany.

30/08/44= 42-31239 MACR 7665
05/09/44= 43-21728 ..............9099
27/09/44= 42-103427 ........... 9226
27/10/44= 42-103451.............. 9632
04/11/44= 43-21458 ............. 10521

10 PRS Losses
 
Hello Dan,

Sorry , but these losses were not P38's.

8/30/44 - 42-31239 - 7665
This MACR should read 7655
The a/c was a P51 Mustang recce version designated F-6

9/5/44 - 43-21728 - 9099
This was an F-3 recce version of the A20 Havoc

9/27/44 - 42-103427 - 9226
This a/c was a P51 recce version designated F-6

10/27/44 - 42-103451 - 9632
This a/c was a P51 recce version designated F-6

11/4/44 - 43-21458 - 10521
This a/c was an F-3 recce version of the A20 Havoc

However , Losses that match dates you have are -

155 Photo Sqdn
5th September 1944
S/Sgt. Charles E. Barron

4th November 1944
2Lt. Thomas Martin
1Lt. Joseph E. Ryan
S/Sgt. John M. Smith

Might beable to find more.
