Ronald Cafley

Hello everybody,

I’m looking for info on a Ronald Cafley. He received his flight training at the Bristol Flying School at Filton. He worked at and eventually test flew the early production Gladiators at Gloster Aircraft in Hucclecote. He flew fighter aircraft in service very early in the war and was shot down but parachuted to ground safely.

This is the only info I have on him. Is there anyone with more info on him?
I’ve been through Frank’s “RAF Fighter Command losses: Volume 1” but so far haven’t found anything on him.

Best wishes/Håkan

Hi There;

My girlfriend's grandfather is named Ronald Cafley. He flew planes around that same time as you were talking about.
