Today marks something of a milestone.

It was on Dec 22nd, 2004 that this second incarnation of the "Twelve O'Clock High" discussion board went online.

I'd like to thank Ruy Horta for providing such an outstanding forum, and express my appreciation to the community for the quality and spirit of its contributions. Visiting here is a daily pleasure, and I look forward to many more informative years!

You are right.

In december 2004 we left Server.com after many year of use (free, I must add) and first tried to host a forum of our own using phpBB. Not being happy with the total package being offered (again for free), we upped the quality by going for the commercial vBulletin.

On the technical side the only limiting factor is the hosting package, which is still run on a modest budget (I may up it, not happy with 2006).

Ironically 12oclockhigh.net is a forum without a site, something that is pretty rare!! However, I must change that pretty soon. At least a modest site would set things right...

I'd like to extend that thank you, since without the community this forum simply stops to be.
