5th Emergency Rescue Squadron

Besides the Littlefriends website (littlefriends.co.uk) is there any other sites with information/photos about this squadron? I'm on kind of a support group kick right now (photo recon, ERS, Scouting Force). Also, any info on the 69th Photo Recon Group. I've only found the one photo we've all seen of F-6 Mustangs with quartered tail markings of green and/or (red?) squares taken at a built up airport in Germany (Frankfurt?). Thanks

Re: 5th Emergency Rescue Squadron

JM,
Roger Freeman's book, The Mighty Eighth, on pg. 293 devotes a paragraph on the 5th ERS. It describes the aircraft, coloring, and designations....might be of help.
Regards,
Hugh
