sources for biographical info on Bernhard Jope

Looking for 'additional' biographical info on German Luftwaffe pilot Bernhard Jope that can be documented... need the sources if info given. I already have info that he was commander of KG 100 after successfully dropping the Fritz X with great success in Sept. 1943 on Italian shipping and American naval vessels at Salerno. Thanks-

Hello Thimothy,
Bernhard was a good friend of mine after the war when we both were Airline pilots in Lufthansa for decades. We did not talk so much about war but I remember that he was quite successful in intercepting US deliveries to the Sovjets into Murmansk and got highest decorations by Hitler personally. Well, ask me questions, may be I can help, but I dont have big library -Peter-

Welcome to this board, Mr. Spoden! Your contributions are most welcome! We other are talking about what we have read in books. When you talk about it, you are one who have been in the middle of all this.
