Yep it's Werner Mölders and his mount is Bf109 F-1 Wk-Nr 5628.
The picture must be from early 1941 then the airfield could be Mardyck ? Maybe someone 'here' has additional info ? There could be some kind of speciel occausion to the picture being taken. Could it be repaint job ? Because in Oct.40 his unit JG51 recieved the first three pre-producted F-models he flew them and they had a different paint scheme but not sure if Wk-Nr 5628 was one of these. Or it could also be his first production F-1 model. Nick |
