Watermarking and protecting your images
 

With the new gallery we have the means to protect your uploaded material through the use of watermarks.

I'd like to know how to best serve the community's wishes.

What would you prefer

1. Permanent watermarking vs unchanged original available?
2. Watermark in corners vs dead center
3. (semi)Transparant watermark vs opaque

Please share your thoughts.

Transparent watermark over the lower third of the image. Set transparency in range of 40-60% as well this show the best. But it is on you.

Put up a temporary watermark as a test, it is in the house style.

However you can still obtain an unmarked original. I'd like to know your views on unmarked originals vs permanent watermarks.

I prefer permanent watermarks.
