FAQ about the Luftwaffe loss recording system

Hi, guys.

I have been asked if I am willing to write an article describing the way the wartime Luftwaffe recorded their losses. As I have been studying this issue for about a decade, and recently have discovered a few documents that have further made me able to write such an article with sound documentation from the period, I wondered if this was of interest to the community?

Would it be able to keep this as a kind of FAQ, Ruy?

Regards,
Andreas B

Same here. Excellent and kind offer, Andreas!
Also, in extention to what the dry RLM regulation say, it would be also nice to know the practice of aircraft write-downs, i.e. at which degree of damage was a particular aircraft usually written down on the field (regardless of the various circumstances existing on the front).

Andreas, it will be a very good idea. Thanks in advance.

If you can include in your FAQ how to access the actual documents (rules to follow and price to pay for example), it will be very appreciated at least by me.

Best regards

Laurent
