I found a lauer who made a forced-landing due to action of spitfires on 28 th august 44, is this one the first loss of a Me262 due to ennemy ???
/Except place bombing/

"The Me 262 combat diary" by Foreman and Harvey noted, on page 41, that on 18 July 1944, Hptm Werner Thierfelder, commander of Ekdo 262 "failed to return from a scramble. His body was found in the wreckage of his Me 262 near Landsberg. German reports state that he was shot down in combat and it would seem that he had become involved in a 15th Air Force raid striking northward from Italy."

The next combat loss appears to have been on 28 Aug 44, when Oberfeldwebel Hieronymus 'Ronny' Lauer ran into a flight of P-47s from the 78th Fighter Group. Lauer crash-landed to avoid the 'Spitfires' on his tail. He managed to get away alive, although Lt MD Croy fired on him as he was running from the wreck. (page 53)

So, it appears to depend on what credence you place on the 18 July report.

You are right I missed this one, to complete the Kdo Schenk seems to hv "toured" France for quite a month before to find a "quiet" place to start operation nd that prior 28.th they hv got 3 planes damaged but not to ennemy, a 262 has been found found near nijmegen by the brits, end of aug. or beg sept. is it the Lauer's one ?

Again, from that report on Lauer in "The Me 262 combat diary," the American report states that the encounter took place in the vicinity of "Termonde, Brussels, Belgium."

The "Nijmegen" Me 262 was shot down at October 5th, 1944.
Pilot Hptm. Hans-Christoph Buttmann. Me 262 WNr.170093.
Shot down by Spitfires of No.401 (RCAF) Sqn.

Hattert ganz near Brussels is given by the log-book of Lauer, a transfer flight from athies/arras to Chièvres 9K+EL, I am wondering how they overhauled the aircraft with a such poor organisation they hv at that time
do we hv the Wn of the Lauer's 262 ???

Other Allied fighters which encountered the Me 262 included the BritishSupermarine Spitfire, Hawker Tempest Mk.V and the Soviet Lavochkin La-7. The first Me 262 shot down by Allied fighters was by Spitfires of No. 401 Squadron RCAF, on October 5, 1944. The first Tempest kill of an Me 262 was by FO Bob Cole (DFC) of No. 3 Squadron RAF on October 13. The Lavochkin was the only Soviet fighter to shoot down a German jet, with La-7 ace Ivan Nikitovich Kozhedub fighting and downing one Me 262 jet on February 15 1945 over eastern Germany. Kozhedub apparently later said that his success was mainly due to the Me 262 pilot attempting to out-turn his more maneuverable plane.
