Respirator identification please
Found in Seaford Bay, Sussex, after recent storm
A Dornier oxygen cylinder was reported to local museum as found a few weeks earlier (but there may be no connection) I can send pictures by email Rubber mouth nose piece has following mouldings 23 42 aqd edjarzembowski@maidstone.gov.uk |

Hi,
No idea what the 23 is. The 42 is for 1942, and aqd is the German manufacturer's id code. I haven't got my lists to hand but maybe someone else has! If the Dornier crashed some time in 1942 onwards this piece could be related to it. Regards, David |

Pawlas lists aqd as "Radium-Gummiwerke m.b.h. Köln-Dellbrück, Grafenmühlenweg 109.
