Respirator identification please
 
Found in Seaford Bay, Sussex, after recent storm

A Dornier oxygen cylinder was reported to local museum as found a few weeks earlier (but there may be no connection)

I can send pictures by email

Rubber mouth nose piece has following mouldings

Hi,

No idea what the 23 is. The 42 is for 1942, and aqd is the German manufacturer's id code. I haven't got my lists to hand but maybe someone else has!

If the Dornier crashed some time in 1942 onwards this piece could be related to it.

Pawlas lists aqd as "Radium-Gummiwerke m.b.h. Köln-Dellbrück, Grafenmühlenweg 109.
Lt 7.Nachtrag"
