II/StG1 in August 1942. Location uncertainties
 

Hi all!

Could anyone clarify where II/StG1 was based during August 1942?
The Gruppe definitely operated under VIII fliegerkorps against Stalingrad, but some of the losses are listed in the vicinity of Rzhev (PQ 4706, 4708). Maybe where are some info that elements of the Gruppe were split and sent to Central sector of the Eastern front? In this case what bases they operated from?

Michael Holm's site gives Woltchansk and Gorlovka bases for August, but I suppose a mistake here. Could anybody shed some light on this?
