Kurtl,

not just the Luftwaffe took part in that battle over Austria, but the Hungarian Air Force as well (with claims and losses).

Kurtl,

If you are looking for the P-38 losses, these were not Hungarian claims. The Hungarians claimed Viermots and one Mustang (officially 3 Liberators, one B-17 and one Mustang were confirmed to them).
