Emil with Erla

One very interesting detail could be note on one excibited Bf109E in the UK- Erla canopy. Did any know any about this feature? personaly I don't beleive that it is new version of Bf109E :) Image is at following link:

hi,
it was the Bf 109E now in the Battle of Britain Museum in Hendon : black 12 from 2/JG 51.
The original was lost and and Erla one was put on it for exhibition purpose post war.
