Oblt Leopold Wenger, II/SG 10

Ritterkreuz holder 'Poldi' Wenger was killed in action 10 Apr 45 over Austria; does anyone have any idea of how it happened?

Good evening Sir!
In the book about RK winners of the Stuka and Jagdflieger by Obermaier, it says that he was shot down and killed in aerial battle with Sovjet fighters at Deutsch-Wagram.
