august 23,1941 the grupul 8 have a successful day(seven kills)
doens anyone know details from rumanian and soviet sides(rumanians winners,soviet losses...)

september 7,1941-9 kills

Indeed, I have seven 'kills' claimed by I.A.R. 80 pilots on Aug. 23, 1941: five 'Ratas', one 'Martin' bomber and an unidentified Soviet fighter.

I have 12 I.A.R. 80 claims for this day, 7 confirmed and 5 unconfirmed, all against Soviet fighters.

You will find out details on this, and other, air combat - the view from both sides! - in a forthcoming book, to be published hopefully later on this year. :)
