I./NJG 4 code
On Mark Postlewaithe's site (ww2images.com) you can see a couple of pictures of a Do 217N-2 (with "shräge Musik") wearing the code 3U+IP.
According to Barry Rosch, this code was used for 5 months after I./NJG 4 was formed from I./ZG 26 in Nov. 41. But AFAIK the Do 217N-2 entered service in mid-43. How come I./NJG 4 was still using this code? |
Re: I./NJG 4 code
Dear C-J,
as far I know this plane was said to be coded 3C+IP and was pictured in Switzerland. Amitiés périgourdines Von Alles |
